More 5000 Miles a day

Funny. I just tried to post a reply in the other thread on this subject and got a message saying the thread doesn't exist. So, I'll try here. The 5000 miles a day thing hasn't had any general publicity, to the best of my knowledge. The Advisory Board, however, is open to anyone. There's a message on the WebFlyer home page that tells you how to join.

phil - it's possible that MileKing was posting when you tried to... I've just posted to that thread, & it worked. In general, when you try to post and get a message saying 'that topic doesn't exist/you tried to hack around the reply button', just wait a few minutes and try again. Two people can't post to the same thread at the same time.

Thanks for the information on the Advisory Board.

Thanks, baobab. I, too, have since posted to it and it worked. I probably just got too impatient. In fact, that's the first time I got that message, and it confused me, since it was a relatively new thread. I've also had the system tell me, a couple of times, that I'm using an unregistered ID. Two or three minutes later, it accepts me. Ah, technology!

Baobab... thanks for the advice on the "topic doesn't exist" problems.

PHil... that happens to me a number of times.
I didn't pay it mind, figured it was my computer but now I get it. What I do now is
wait a few seconds when I hit the "submit reply" button before moving back.

Thought about joining the advisory committee but I thought I didn't have enough frequent Flyer Experience to be "an advisor." I know my limits!

I'll post something on the contest shortly.

Catman: Based on the things I've been asked about so far, you're more than qualified for the advisory committee.
