Arrow Gold Point Transfer through points.com - Check it out!!

Hey everyone, my first post in MileBuzz, hopes this helps...

Goldpoints just became a member of points.com.

Remember there are offering double miles on points transfer in to US airways right now and they are have some great deals on transfers in to Asia Miles.

However, there is a catch....This can't be a straight transfer. You must first transfer them to Phonehog.com

From Phonehog.com points you can then transfer them to Asia Miles or US Airways Miles.

Example
10,000 Gold Points = 1350 Asia Miles
10,000 Gold Points = 627 doubled plus 25%
But
10,000 Gold Points = 3857 Phonehog.com points
3857 Phonehog.com points = 6943 Asia Miles
3857 Phonehog.com points = 1614 miles Doubled plus 25%
or
3857 Phonehog.com points = 46,286 GoldPoints and the beat goes on and on...

Infinite Gold Points. Interesting. I wonder how long until they realize their mistake...

Time will tell, I suppose.

Maybe they monitor this forum...I don't know...This will totally suck if my first most in this forum is almost instantly removed.

And its calculator just cycled 2000 Goldpoints into 9253. I shall see what happens here.

Everyone go for it while you can. Keep in mind, though, that you cannot use GoldPoints with points.com if your GP account is via Radisson - which I think is most people here.

[Re-edit: Yes, apparently no soap if Radisson is implicated. Selah.]

I cant get them to recognize my Goldpoints account:

Message from points.com
We are not able to verify your Gold Points Reward Network account: At this time, Gold Points' members holding a membership card from Radisson Hotels & Resorts, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson or Park Inn are not eligible to participate on Points.com

I signed up for a new one on goldpoints.com and instantly got the 500 points for updating my profile. My old account was essentially dormant anyway, so no harm done there.

Edit to note that the transfer from PhoneHog back to GoldPoints does not work - it shows as "cancelled" in the pending transfer section.

Talking Turnover time ?

They will shut it down tomorow, so The question is - how long does it take to turn Goldpoints around? How long does round trip takes ?
If that works, some of us will have a sleepless night

Now, veterans here know that Goldpoints are nasty and will take you points away in no time and will subtruct points even from you airline account later on. Since they will discover the problem next morning, the second question is - how to "lock" the points, made them completely unavailable for reversal.
I see one possible solution - eBay anything points can be spent tonight !

P.S. Tried to sign for PhoneHog, got this: "Your PhoneHog account is pending. Once your account is approved, you will receive your PhoneHog Calling Card via e-mail."
I guess it's over for me, one must have pre-existing PhoneHog account to ride this one...
