Kiplinger Magazine Interview
I was called yesterday by a reporter from Kiplinger who said he got my name and E-mail address from Randy. He says he's doing an article for (probably) the March issue on what he calls "quickie vacations." These are family vacations sandwiched in with a business trip. Anyone else heard from him?

Phil, THis is just me but I would look into this very carefully. I don't think Randy is in the business of giving out other people's e-mail... he's too much of a gentleman to do that.
If anything they got it by reading Flyertalk and writing down the e-mail addresses from the envelope box.
And no, They have not contacted me, but I am
sure they won't. I don't travel like you guys! CATMAN

If you want to call him back - and why not, if he's legit? - I'd call Kiplinger's public main number and asking for him, not a number he left you. If they've never heard of him, it tells you something.

I did call, and I talked to him. I'm convinced he's legit, and he didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary. If anything, I tended to ramble and he pulled me back to the subject several times. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard from them. I'd hate to be the sole (soul?) (sold?) source. If he was reading the thread, there'd be a lot more people he might want to talk to. He certainly sounded like a journalist from New York (no offense intended, CATMAN, and NJ is close to NY)
