Star Alliance Miles

How can I upgrade using US Airways miles on other Star Alliance partners? It seems no one knows the clear answer to this at the airlines...thanks for your input

as far as I know, of all StarAlliance ff-programs, only UA Mileage Plus and LH miles&more offer upgrades with miles or vouchers on the other one (LH or UA).

A possible way to succeed with US miles may be to exchange an upgrade through 'Coupon connection' on FlyerTalk.

Welcome to FT jbg44

Your US miles can be used for awards on all *A carriers, but not upgrades.
