Jet Blue Airlines

I flew Jet Blue for the first time this past weekend. BUF-JFK. All I can say is...WOW!!

All brand new planes, AirBus 320 or something like that. Leather seats, 3 on each side of the aisle. No first or business class, all coach. Direct TV at each seat for your viewing pleasure, all free.

They are in terminal 6 at JFK. Get off your plane, walk around the corner and you're outside in front of a cab stand. Couldn't be easier! Flights were on time, staff and attendants were very nice. No FF program yet but for $49.00 each way its not a problem. They are currently serving Buffalo, Rochester, NYC (JFK), several points in Florida, Oakland, CA, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, UT.

Easy online ticketing too. I look forward to using them more in the future.

It's very unlikely that Jet Blue will ever have much of a FF plan, if any. If they do something, I suspect it will be similar to the AirTran scheme where you save your receipts and mail them in.

According to the FAQ on JetBlue's web site:

"At this time, JetBlue does not have a Frequent Flier program. However, we are working on an innovative program that will reward our loyal passengers. Stay tuned to our website for upcoming announcements."
