HK, I would stay an extra day in London on the 3rd. I think it will make life much less stressful in the long run, especially if there is bad weather somewhere along the way.
I'm glad you found a creative and profitable solution to your problem. That should be at least 50k miles with all the bonuses, plus you'll have a bunch of qualification miles in hand for 2001.
