How long for HHoners points to post??
Haven't stayed at a Hilton in quite awhile, but I stayed at the Millenium Hilton in New York a couple of weeks ago, and checked out on Friday the 29th.
I've been checking my account for the hefty points that should be appearring there, but have found nothing.
Does it take much longer than a week and a half to post?
Thanks.

The specific property does seem to have a lot to do with it - with some of them, it takes weeks.. if, however, you have your checkout bill in front of you, you can call Customer Support (sometimes have to hold forever and/or dial forever to get thru) and they will post them on the spot!

It can vary a lot - best advice is to fax the customer service team after a week if nothing posted by then. I know this gives them a lot of incoming faxes to deal with, but sometimes there are hotels which seem to lose info on HH.

Greetings from another Chicagoan!
The Millenium Hilton is particularly bad about posting your points. I would suggest faxing your folio to HHonors (don't have the fax number in front of me but it should be on their website). The points should show up within a week or so after that.

Hi Everybody!
Thanks for the info. I checked my account today, and the 14,000+ points finally posted.
Lesson learned is Millenium Hilton NY is slow, and takes about a week and a half.
which is how long I'm going to have to wait for last week's stay at the same property.
I'm also there this week. At $294 a night, points add up quick...
Thanks again for the replies! Nice to see fellow Chicago travelers too, AnnaS!
