For those with no AA miles

Last night, after I posted, I wondered how many people didn't have any AA miles and wanted a subscription.

Here's a link that will turn a Lincoln test drive into 2500 AA miles. Therefore, a Lincoln test drive equals 1/2 year subscription to the WSJ and 600 AA miles.

Vaild until 5/19/2006.

I have 2 currently valid Delta Airlines - Wall Street Journal offers in the Newspapers and Magazines section of the Buying Stuff page of my website below.

You'd have to give me the Lincoln to compensate for enduring the sales pitch before, during and after the test drive.

Several of us have gone to the dealership and asked to test drive the car so the salesman can fill out the form. We have been asked, "Are you interested in buying a car?" We've said no and the salesman has offered to just sign the form and not waste anyone's time, including his own. Plus, the offer is now 5,000 AA miles, so you can get a subscription for a friend as well . See gleff's blog for details.

That's so smart for all involved. It's refreshing to see that a bunch of guys can set aside the egos and make the best move under the circumstances.

I didn't try the phone number, but the Delta link led to a bunch of magazines (none of which was WSJ), and the Milepoint link doesn't have WSJ either.

What is the second valid DL - WSJ offer?

I was referring to the first two offers I list for earning miles for paying money to subscribe to the WSJ. The are both still valid.

I was hoping to use some stranded US miles of mine to extend my WSJ subscription, though it now appears that The Journal is missing from milepoint.com (http://www.milepoint.com/mall/magazine.asp)

Does anyone know of any other routes to get this done, other than through them?

Thanks!

I used 1900 miles from US on Points.com on 2/06/06 for 253 issues of WSJ.
Have yet to receive. They suggest calling 800 250 3525 for questions. Why not try that number?
