Upgrades / Lounges
First time user, so appologies in advance if I'm in the wrong area or whatever.
In July & August, four of us are booked on the following:
Singapore Airlines: BNE - SIN
Lufthansa: SIN - FRA / FRA - CPN / OSL - FRA / FRA - BKK
Thai Airways: BKK - HKT / HKT - BKK / BKK - BNE
I am currently Air New Zealand Airpoints Jade & Thai ROP Silver.
For this trip, at this stage I am claiming Airpoints for the trip which I am paying for.
Questions:
Should I be claiming Airpoints which I just changed to before Amex announced they were bailing & ANZ increased points required for Pacific travel (which I use regularly)?
Any tips for upgrades?
Any tips for lounge access?
Any tips at all?
