Anyone who qualifies to have an AA Aadvantage Miles, US Dividend Miles or UA Mileage Plus account can inherit miles. Requirements are:

Mileage account number, a copy of the will showing name of the executor, name of the person or persons inhereting, proportion of miles to each person together with a copy of the death certificate.

Fees = AA - $50 per will, US - No Fee
UA - $75 per account

Neat Wrinkle: If in your will you ask Aadvantage to grant you one bonus mile they will do so. This will have the effect of creating activity in the account and setting the expiry clock back to 36 months. In fact at your request, they will note this in your account record even now.
