OT- silly question

How come when I come to the FT board I am constantly getting a pop-up new browser window (IE 5.x) asking me to take a survey about diarrhea or heartburn? Is this some kind of joke? Or a new way of selling advertising? It's annoying.

Maybe your computer knows you better than you think!

Seriously, look in the forum "For Randy Peterson"

Sounds like the heartburn folks are creating a new market while you read!

United should consider having the heartburn medicine ad pop up every time you make a reservation on United Shuttle....

This wonderful ad is showing up on several web sites. The interesting thing though, and please all of you out there do not "read" anything into this, when you actually look at the offer it sends you to drugstore.com so the "free" offer is not that easy. Give me a break everyone, it was for my wife. No, really.

Judging from the speed on the board tonight, it should be a laxative ad that pops up, ahem.
