Mileage run PHL--ORD

I will probably book a ticket from Philadelphia to Chicago in early october. Has anyone any suggestion how I could route this ticket so that I get as many miles as possible? I could travel with DL,AA,UA or US.

Kempis... upon quick thinking (and someone will probably prove me wrong) you will most likely get routed a direct flight on AA and UA and a significant percentage of US flights. This will net you around 660 FF miles (or so).

However, flying DL via CVG will get you just a tad more than 1000 (507+ 500). You could possibly be routed thru PIT on US which would net you 1000 (500+500) as well.

Happy travels.

On UA you could try PHL-IAD-ORD(500+578) or you could get creative and go through DEN, PHL-DEN-ORD-PHL or PHL-IAD-DEN-ORD-IAD-PHL. You just need to play with the system on your own, however if you start getting carried away the price does add up. It also depends on how many miles you actually want.

See if you can get PHL-DFW-ORD to ticket on AA for the price of PHL-ORD(should net you about 3500-4000 miles for the RT). I am doing a mileage run STL-DFW-FLL end of the month for $98RT so it might work.

Good luck.
