Ecommerce rewards - reverse lookup?
Is there a way to start with a merchant name and then find out which rewards sites link to *it*, instead of going from one to another searching for it? If I see something I want to buy at xyz.com, I don't want to have to manually go from ClickRewards to MyPoints to Milesource to ... looking at their merchant lists to see if that purchase will get me anything. (But I will if that's the only way...)

Someone could create a text file that has the web sites, followed by the stores that participate (manually gathered). Then that file would be emailed to people, who would only have to do a search/find for "etoys", etc. Any volunteers?
Also, has there been any discussion of the "best" way to earn online miles/rewards? My limited view so far:
multikredits: you can surf for points, but under current limits it would take 13 weeks to get a $20 gift certificate.
clickrewards: no points for surfing, just for purchases, but points over 250 can be converted 1:1 to some airlines.
milesource: you can surf for points (but only one point earned per click) and it takes 25,000 to earn a ticket from this site (can't transfer points to airlines.)
I'd be interested in hearing everyone's opinion - I've got a few airline programs that need "topping up" for an award.

Resurrecting an old thread I started...
In thinking about this, I decided to do some looking into starting one myself! I've already found some software to do website searches on a database, and got it loaded up on my page with its working example. All I need to do now is construct an appropriate database and revamp the example pages to display the desired data. I'll post here when I have something up for you all to look at. (As a working mom of two, that'll probably take a few months!)

www.altavista.com allows this sort of search...
link:site.com AND NOT host:site.com
In English, all those pages linked to 'site.com' excluding links from its own site.
There must be a way to modify this to only display for clickrewards, mypoints, etc.

Well, I finally got the DB to work; you can search with etailer name and find out who are its partners and coupons. http://www.valueconsumer.com/search.cfm Look up by shopping portals and other enhancements are coming.
I hope it's a helpful shopping tool for folks out there.
PLEASE NOTE it's only a start and additional reward shopping portals and MORE coupons will be added.
Test drive it and let me know how it can be further improved or suggestions. All feedbacks GOOD and BAD will be appreciated.
Thanks,
