Etrade Bonus Miles

I opened an Etrade account to get the bonus miles with Delta and it took forever for them to post. I just found out that you can get Marriott points as well, so I opened another account. These bonus points posted to my Rewards account so fast it made my head spin. The question is how long do I have to leave the money there? The fine print says something about 6 months. The points have posted already. If I move the money out will they take back the points?

Or do I just have to keep the account open 6 months?

When I took advantage of the UA offer, I had to keep the account open for 6 months; I didn't want to find out the consequence. Instead of leaving $1K balance, I withdrew half of it til I closed the account. I'm not sure whether E*Trade is requiring $1K min balance to be maintained or not.

FYI, http://www.valueconsumer.com/CreditCards/Finance.htm lists 12 E*Trade offers.

I opened up an E*Trade account last year with hopes of taking advantage of the 10,000 UA miles offer, however, I withdrew a small amount of the funds and never closed the account. I never received the miles as a result of the withdrawal.

I withdrew half of the balance after I got miles.
