TWA Super Constellation at JFK
Just curious if any of my fellow FT'ers had the chance to see or walk through our Super Constellation at JFK last week. I had the pleasure of flying on her from MKC to JFK on Tuesday, and was a guide on the Connie during her stay at JFK.
If anyone saw her, what did you think? Photos can be found at www.saveaconnie.org.
Thanks

Hi Art,
Yes, I had the pleasure of seeing it last week. Unfortunately I did not go inside and see the interior but I just loved it on the outside. What a step back in time. My co-worker got a chance to walk into it the following day and took a lot of pictures. We both work for --- Airlines so he showed his ID and got inside it. I'd identify the airline I work for but I post on this site and prefer anonymity. Glad you saw it.

Misstree,
I am glad you got to see her. We were thrilled at the reception we got by TWA and other airline employees. It really boosted the morale of TWA employees.
I was on her most of the time, giving tours. I hope I met some of my fellow flyertalkers.

Just wanted to add that I am the Regional PR Associate for Airline History Museum At Kansas City and was also with the Connie at JFK. If anyone is interested, I have uploaded a Photo Gallery of the JFK event to my website and here is the link: http://www.thconline.com/conatjfkphot.html
Enjoy! Regards, Robert Neal Marshall
