Quick Miles

I am planning a honeymoon and my girlfriend needs 3,100 miles more for a Delta Airline Ticket. Does anyone know a way to obtain 100 miles quickly(I will buy the other 3000 from delta). Or does anyone know how to obtain 3,100 quickly. We need to buy these tickets in about two weeks.
She already has MCI and AE.
Thanks,
Poligone

Greenpoints seem to take a long time to post to Delta. If you have to get the tickets in two weeks, you're probably better off renting a car for a couple of days, staying in a hotel for a night, or ordering flowers to get the last hundred miles. All of those post much more quickly than Greenpoints.

Or can you just buy 4,000 miles? That would be the quickest and easiest way.

Have you tried calling to get the ticket, offering to buy 3000 and asking ever so nicely if they would give you 100 miles? I have heard this works for some people but have not tried it myself. Personally, I would try it, you have nothing to lose and some people talk like Delta is run by saints, so you should have no problem.

I was short by about 1,500 mile to make a fight to Florida. United allowed me to go in the hole and get the ticket I needed. Don't hurt to ask. Good Luck

My understanding (although I've never done it) is that DL allows Medallions to go into "mileage debt" by up to 5,000 miles.
