latin pass

If anybody out there would like for me to travel their 1,000,000 Latin Pass bonus trip -- and knows a way that I can do it and you receive ALL the mileage credit -- drop me an email. We can work out the itinerary and details via phone or internet, I think I could do it in one week with about 2 weeks notice. Also, I would consider buying some/all of the miles if you are so inclined. Lemme know, Amigos...

If I am correct theres NO WAY this can be done since its all intl travel what will you say when at check-in or passport control, the name on the tickets dont match the name on the passport!! Everyone will lose. Even for travel in the 48 they want photo ID today and most of the time they do cross reference with both the tkt you gave them and their computer screen. As for buying a tkt from somone I'm sure its against LP rules as well as FTs but Im not 100% on it.

Not opposed to it but I would need passports, ID, etc. provided in my new name. If you can make that happen, let's talk.

Even if it were legal, its too much fun not to go for yourself, and its part of the adventure. When I went, I imagined doing a Disneyland commercial when I got off the plane at the finish. You know, Barry, you just earned 500,000 miles on LatinPass, where are you going to go now?.. But, now Im thinking I should be a LatinPass spokesperson (assuming the miles post). Heres ad copy that LatinPass can use, Barry, you just spent 15 hours at Disneyland with 6 out of town relatives and 4 children under the age of 5, where are you going to go next.LatinPass.

I admit we had a worry free LatinPass trip, but even the problems are part of the fun, and make for good stories. LatinPass is enough of a scam with out trying to make it a bigger one.

Pumpgu:

If you made the March 19th cut-off date for enrolling in Latin Pass, you could enter into a contract with someone else where they would agree to pay for all of the tickets and other requirements, you would do all of the flying, and the miles would post to your account. Then, you could request tickets, etc. for the person who paid for all of this stuff over the next 20 years or so as they wanted to use the miles, unless LatinPass allows you to transfer the miles directly into someone else's account. Just a wee bit of a hassle, unfortunately.

I missed the date and now have some time, so I'm merely offering my services to those who did make it but don't have time to travel. I agree with Jailer that it is certainly an experience worth having and Miler, it was said (written) tongue-in-cheek

pompgu - I'm sure the Colombian immigration officials would be very interested in your two-week name change.
