LatinPass miles to Hilton?

LatinPass miles to Hilton?
Has anyone been able to transfer the enrollment bonus they got from LatinPass when signing up, to Hilton points yet?
I talked to them on the phone about this and was told at first that it could not be done.
I said I had heard there had been a policy change and that it should be possible now. After more checking she came back and said correct, it can be done now. But it had to be done in writing. Send LatinPass number and a photocopy of my ID with a short letter as to what I want done.
Did just that 2 months ago. Nothing happened.
Called them today to inquire, (because inquiring minds want to know) and was told no can do. Called later to get a different person and was told the same thing.
What gives? Can we or can't we?
Has anyone had success at getting this done, and how did you do it?

This has me very concerned ! I leave Friday for part one of my million mile run. If I can't transfer to HHonors, the appeal is greatly diminished. Perhaps Randy can clear this up with Latin Pass for all of us. I think he has a commitment from LP to allow HHonors transfers.

You will be able to transfer your miles OK.
I just got this from Guy Booth today at Latin Pass.
Dear Mr. Henwood,
I must clarify the thread on Flyer Talk you mention was specifically on
transferring the bonus miles of our present promotion to Hilton HHonors.
This promotion is not considered an enrollment bonus.
Regretfully, enrollment bonus miles do have restrictions and are not allowed
to be transferred.
If I may be of any further assistance, don't hesitate to contact me or the
LatinPass Customer Service Center.

I must admit, I think I'm getting a little paranoid on this Latin Pass issue. Then again, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you !
