Green Points awards

My Wife, Daughter and I have Greenpoint accounts Can the certificates they send as an award from all 3 accounts be applied to one Frequent flyer number and instead of working on 3 tickets at once get one ticket 3 times faster? Is this allowed under the terms of the aggreement? I know after we make purchases we can move the points from one account to the other. I just would rather make purchase on one account instead of 3?

yes, I've had a few friends recieve DL 500 miles coupons and gave them to me. I mailed in a bunch of them together and had all the miles posted to my DL account.

Yes. My wife and son also have GreenPoints account but we have been submitting all of our Delta certificates into one account.

The AA certs I've been getting from Greenpoints have only a reference number on them. They are credited to whichever acct number the holder fills in on the back. It seems you can not only trade them between family members, but you could give them to a third party as a gift(if you are so-inclined, e-mail me ).

YES, and it gets better! I believe (haven't done it yet just read about it on the greenpoints site) that you can combine greenpoints accounts and/or give greenpoints to anyone. I think there is some fine print like you have to have earned points from an actual purchase or something, but otherwise trade away.

An easy way to enable your greenpoints account to donate miles to another account is to purchase goods from ourhouse.com. They have a $15 rebate for new customers and at least when I ordered they had free shipping. I spent $4 got a cool toolbox earned 80 greenpoints and enabled the transfer feature in my account...then i promptly gave all of my greenpoints to my wife's account and ordered more mileage certificates....btw ourhouse.com also participates in the mypoints program so I earned mypoints as well as greenpoints...but that is a story for a different thread
