Location: In protest of Flyertalk's uncalledfor censoring of my point of view, I cancelled my InsideFlyer subscription. So long, and thanks for everything.

Randy Petersen Broke My TV !!!!
Well, not really...
WABC-TV's late news last night teased a story promising to tell about how to fly free.
Awaiting these inside secrets, I was miffed to just see another wrote story about Pudding Guy (hey go ahead and report on promotions that are 5 months past expiration). But then there's Randy, offering expert commentary on the industry. Cool. (No mention of FT, but still cool).
Within 40 or so minutes, 3.5 million ABC viewers went to static on Time Warner Cable systems.
They claim it is about some contract terms dispute, but I KNOW BETTER!!!
Even SUGGEST that frequent travel secrets will be revealed, and the airline powers that be in their smoke filled back room ivory tower pleasure palaces pull the plug.

OMNI for NJDavid: the Time Warner thing is a big cat fight between mouse and hare (or Disney who wants Time Warner to carry its Soap and Romance channels on T-M's Cable systems as well as make Disney a BASIC channel.) You probably know this story already, you're one of the most knowlegable and smartest friends I know (OK! let the razzing about "singling out" begin again!)
Sorry you missed the story. But I can't understand why they can't talk to OTHER FLYERTALKERS and Frequent travelers about their experiences.
I'll put this in writing: if I ever by fluke get asked to talk bout my frequent flyer secrets I:
1. Will wear my Flyertalk shirt, hat and Commander catcop badge.
2. Mention Flyertalk a LOT
3. Hopefully have time to thank members of my Flyertalk community.
