miles for long distance switching

On one of my first forays in FT there was a posting with information about the Sprint/MCI deals for miles. I can't seem to find the info. Does anyone have any information? As a long time MCI customer, is there any chance if I call them and tell them I'm switching to Sprint to get the miles that they'll make the same offer to keep my business?
Thanks in advance.

There is a chance you might but I kinda doubt it.....you can check out the MCI link on this site and see some of the previous post. I personally have had nothing but aggrevation with them and jsut as soon as I can get a carrier that gives miles on Delta I'm switching ........they wil tell you and promise you anything and never follow up with what they tell you. If by chance yo call them be sure to document the operator & time you called for later use on telling one of their supervisors of what was promised.....then you will be told they had no right in telling yo this......good luck.

There is a great website for miles - www.mileageworkshop.com. I saw a promo to switch from my current carrier (MCI) to AT&T. Called AT&T but she could not find the offer below. Instead, she swtiched me and gave me a HIlton bonus of 7500 points! Just what I need for my upcoming trip to Puerto Rico! Now. MCI has been calling and sending me letters to swtich back! AT&T is paying for all costs to swtich as will MCI. So, perhaps after a month or two - will go back to MCI. Here is the AT&T offer:
Switch to AT&T and earn 3,000 Hilton HHonors points. Call
AT&T at 800-288-2662, extension 58390 to sign up for the AT&T
point program. You'll earn 3,000 bonus points for signing up and four
points for every dollar spent afterwards. Remember, you can
exchange Hilton points into frequent flyer miles with a number of
airline programs.
Thanks in advance.[/B][/QUOTE]
