Need some advice from the PROS

Hello All,
I am in need of some advice from all you travel gurus. My situation is thus: I recently relocated to los angeles, my fiance is currently completing her masters degree in akron oh. She suddenly found that she will be free the weekend of the 21st of april until the 24th. Since we have not seen each other in over 2 months we'd like to take advantage. If anyone could give me advice on how to go about finding a cheap fare from cleveland to LA i would be extremely grateful.
Thank You

you might also want to visit newport beach travel's website (http://www.nbtravel.com)..

the site is reliable and allows you easy ways to build a multi-segment flight for mileage or open jaw purposes.

always keep your web-ears open, however, for the occasional "special" (i know, y'all have only a short notice before this particular trip).

She can drive to CMH (Columbus, OH, about 2 hour drive) and then fly to LAX on United or Northwest for $168 + tax R/T but you can't leave on the 21st or 24th -- if she can leave early 22nd and return early 25th.

Good luck.

Check out the fare out of LAS instead. Usually, you will save lots of $. Then, buy a separate LAX-LAS ticket. You can even try the following:

buy a one way LAX-LAS, then, a LAS-CLE-LAX-LAS, and just throw away the final coupon.
