mileage for investments

does any one know any way to get mileage credits for opening ira's-- i know about american and the td waterhouse account-- they want a $10,000 investment-- i only want to do about $4,000 but want to get some type of reward-- Hurry with answers- of course i wait to almost April 15 to do this-- thanks for the help- i know you are all frequent flyer pros!

You will not get any mileage of any sort opening IRAs. Only for normal investment accounts.

Etrade offers generous mileage rewards on Delta and United for opening certain types of accounts, not including IRAs.

If you have info on accounts ($10,000 or more, or other amounts) where IRAs qualify for mileage ,please post them for all to enjoy.
