LATINPASS Possible Itinerary

Does anyone have any suggestions/improvements for this itinerary to get ALL TEN for ONE MILLION MILES???

USE TWA Award LAX/Miami one way, open jaw, return Aruba/LAX

Miami/Managua TACA (required flight)
Managua/GUA TACA
GUA/SJO Aviateca
SJO/Panama LACSA
Panama/Quito COPA
QUITO/Lima/QuitoACES (counts as TWO)
Lima/Cuzco/Lima TACA PERU
Quito/Caracas AVIANCA $300 one way
Caracas/Aruba Aeropostal

then return from Aruba using TWA award...
I can buy two cheap roundtrips on National from L.A. to Las Vegas to get the other 3 segments.

My ALTERNATE plan is using TWO trips from Miami:
TRIP ONE:
Miami/Gua TACA
Gua/Sal Aviateca
Sal/San Jose COPA
Sjo/Managua LACSA
Managua/Miami TACA (required flight)
TRIP TWO:
Miami/Lima/Miami AVIANCA $320 roundtrip!
Lima/Cuzco/Lima TACA PERU
Lima/Quito/Lima ACES (counts as TWO)
Lima/Guayquil/Lima AEROPOSTAL
I would also BUY a roundtrip on TWA from LA to Miami, to get the 3 segments needed...
ANY Suggestions, comments???
Thanks, James Fuhrman

Flyrights:

How many days does your option #1 trip take? I may take the same trip(I am in SF).

Thanks,

Jason

My TRIP ONE itinerary should probably take 10 - 14 days.... I know it's a bit long for most.... perhaps some clever person could shorten it...
From San Francisco, you might want to consider LACSA from LA, possibly from San Francisco too, to Mexico or Guatemala, but the one way fares are expensive...
Best, Jim

A good ticket to get from LA is
lax->gua LACSA
gua->sal aviateca
sal->lax taca

you can get this for 600-700. since they are all on grupo taca airlines you get the same price as a r/t ticket and it takes care of 3 airlines. just a thought if your leaving from LAX.

Thanks for the suggestion, i'm still trying to work this out... I might do something like your suggested itinerary from LAX (adding a COPA flight too), but see if TACA has an open jaw fare which allows me to go Managua to Miami on the TACA required flight....THEN, use my TWA award to and from Aruba, and from Aruba, do VH to Caracas, AV to Lima, Aces roundtrip from Lima to Quito, Taca Peru roundtrip to Cuzco.... this will drive you NUTS !!!
