Club Avolta?
Not finding a thread on Club Avolta -- please move if this exists! I got a status match offer and my UA Gold got me the highest tier. It looks like discounts at HMS Host restaurants, Hudson markets, and other airport spots. Curious to learn more. I did last week notice at BUR Hudson store that the self-check kiosk had a place to enter a member number, but didn't think anything of it until I got the email. Website is less than ideal, but mentions 5%-10% discounts.
Anyone have experience? Am I just out of it?

Club Avolta is a rebranding of Red By Dufry. (Dufry is a Duty Free store operator.)

I use it a fair bit. In Switzerland they give you 10% discount on tabacco and alcohol with the platinum card, and free lounge access to a few contract lounge.
Unfortunately no way to use the accrued points, not to accrue Avios outside of FI/ES/UK.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of the prior program, wonder it is existed in the USA. I'm game for discounts where I would shop anyway, and don't expect I'd ever buy enough to care about the points. I couldn't find a list of outlets on the website so will just start paying attention in my usual airports.
The match was from UA Gold to platinum. Available for free on statusmatch.com and doesn't seem to be invite only, just asks for airline or hotel to match against.

For those outside North America, remember that with Avolta Platinum you can now status match instantly to the highest level of Radisson Rewards (VIP), which gives free breakfast, discounts of around 25% on bookings and decent upgrade chances (other than to suites).

I don't really have any need for Radisson status, but others might... I can't imagine this loophole - any mediocre status --> Avolta Platinum --> Radisson VIP - will remain in place forever.

Rob at headforpoints wrote an article on this a few weeks ago. Finally I got around to enrol hubby in avolta, matched to platinum (using hubby's hilton gold), then use avolta platinum to upgrade to radisson vip until Dec 2025. All done in one day, we are now back in Oz and hubby got radisson premium through amex plat. We are going to take advantage of radisson vip in 2025 - in a few countries like mauritius, madagascar, and norway - free breakfast for 2
