Is Hub Award search gone?
Over the years we were pretty flexible on our destinations, so I would search for availability to a hub in the region, and build our itinerary from there. We are in NYC, so it was relatively easy to search for TPAC/TATL awards to major hubs, and add a short haul segment.
Now it seems everything has changed. Lots of married segments. Everything seems to be priced dynamically, even on partner airlines. Crazy routings - JFK-ADD not available, JFK-YUL-YYZ-ADD is, but not YYZ-ADD, for example. Or JFK-CDG and CDG-ZNZ are available, but JFK-CDG-ZNZ is not.
More of a vent than a question....
