Pudding guy email spam....
I can't believe I was just emailed a Pudding Guy article from a friend of mine. I was going to try and explain how I already knew but I figured she either wouldn't believe me or think I was nuts.

Damian: The day the Pudding Guy article appeared on WSJ, a friend e-mailed that same article. I told him I already know about it-and as a matter of proof, I included an e-mail from Jane Costello of WSJ thanking me for bringing the thread to her attention!

Wow! Just a matter of differing definitions here it seems.
When this happens to me, rather than "spam", I just think to myself how nice I was for this person to think of me AND to take their time to actually write me about something they thought I'd be interested in!
To each his/her own, I guess!
In response to Dorian below:
Yes, it would seem so- but did it say that in your post above?
Thanks for the clarification!

I would suggest a different topic name, as "Pudding guy e-mail spam..." makes it appear as if Pudding Guy himself is spamming people. It isn't wise to post a topic name which can so easily be misunderstood.

When the PuddingGuy stuff hit the news, I had two friends ask me if it was me! The funny part is they did not believe me when I denied it.

Oh no
It happened to me today also.
A work colleague of mine who knows of my interest in FF miles forwarded an email to me about the goings on of a person who earned 1 million miles by buying puddings.
Tomorrow I'm going to show her the threads on the subject.
I thought puddingguy's effort's were great but the way things are going next they'll be nominating pudding guy for president...
I can just see him addressing America
'Let them eat pudding...'
cheers Peter
