ClickRewards 1 for 2 Conversion Is Back!
Indirectly though...
You can transfer Starwood Preferred Guest points to any of its airlines partners 1:1. And you get 5K bonus when you transfer 20K points.
From 2/1 to 3/31 ClickRewards is offering 1 for 2 conversion to SPG program. You have to transfer min 250 ClickMiles and the maximum is 10K ClickMiles.

Excellent! This will be close to 12K miles for me. However, I don't believe the points moved into Starwood from Click Rewards will qualify for the 5000 bonus miles since they are points transferred into your Starwood account and not actually earned there. I have yet to figure out how they (Starwood) can actually keep tabs on this since the breakdown does not appear in your Starwood statement.

Well, just tried to convert my 6000+ clickmiles and received a message saying it exceeded Starwood's maximum allowable redemption. I started decreasing the number by 500 at a time and resubmitting. Nothing was accepted! I got down to 1000 miles and gave up. Either there is a limit (below 1000 miles) or something is not working properly.

Don't think you will get the 5,000 Bonus. Check out the fine print:
------
Starpoints must be earned within the Starwood Preferred Guest Program. Starpoint bonus based on a 1-to-1 ratio. Equivalent bonus will be awarded in accordance with other conversion ratios.
-------
This seems to imply that the points must be earned with Starpoints in order to qualify for the bonus 5,000 miles. Or am i way off here. Hope this 2 for 1 problem gets fixed quick.

It's working properly now!!! I just moved all 6000+ of my miles to Starwood in one transaction without incident. 3 weeks to post according to confirmation.

Hello, forgive my ignorance, I joined Starwood last year and have not used them and am not familiar with the program. Am I correct to understand I can transfer (example) 5000 ClickReward points to Starwood and obtain 10000 Starwood points? Then in turn I can transfer the 10000 Starwood points to Continental and obtain 10000 miles in Continental OnePass? This seems too good to be true! I am afraid to transfer the points without being clear on it. I have wound up not staying at any Starwood properties and don't want to transfer points to their program if I can't transfer them out to OnePass. Feel free to point me to the Starwood site if anyone knows where I can read about this scenario.
Thanks!
Thanks!

keith, it is exactly as you state! Move 5000 clickreward miles to Starwood for 10,000 Starwood points (offer good only thru 3/31) and you can then move the 10,000 to CO or any of the other airline programs Starwood is connected with. Starwood points do not expire so you don't have to move them to CO immediately. You can go to www.preferredguest.com to read about the Starwood program.

Just transferred 10,000 clickmiles in one
transaction. However, an attempted transfer
of 10,001 clickmiles was rejected (same
"exceeds maximum mileage" message as above).
Once the Starwood miles post I'll try
transferring again and see what happens...

Is the 20K Starpoints to 25K airline miles transfer still possible? I was just on the SPG web site, and I couldn't find any mention of the 5K bonus. I know it was there before. Can someone point me towards it?
Also, can any clarify what Starpoints would be considered NOT earned "within SPG?" Do Starwood promo bonus Starpoints, Corporate Preferred bonus Starpoints, or "courtesy" Starpoints count as being from "within" Starwood Preferred Guest?
I understand that the Click Rewards X-fer would fall under thos points not earned within the programme, but what would be the others?
Oh, well. Off I go to Click Rewards to redeem whatever points happen to be there.

Thanks for the headsup. Yesterday I received the 5000 clickmiles I earned for opening an E*Trade account in early December and today I promptly transfered them to my Starwood account hoping to turn them into 10,000. This is beginning to feel like legalized money-laundering. Just kidding!!!
Point of clarification: The ClickRewards/Starwood transfer is real. I was kidding about the "money-laundering" semblance.

Forgive the ignorance, but how is everyone racking up 10k ClickRewards?! Are you really ordering that many $50 BN.com books, PlanetRx.com drugs, and Gap.com jeans, or is there something obvious I've missed? Like a "fill out this form to earn 5k miles without doing anything" page? Or did everyone get their mortgages through iOwn.com? Inquiring minds wanna know...
