**WARNING** Visas needed for Aussies & Canucks
A gentle warning to Aussies and Canadians regarding Visas for Central America - For EL Salvador a Visa is required unless you are only connecting through and not leaving the Airport. see http://www.wtg-online.com/data/slv/slv040.asp
and for Nicaragua it is necesary to have a Visa regardless of your transit status. This is important because from what I understand - you must travel from MIA to Managua on a NICA flight (Grupa Taca service) to meet the mileage requirement. see http://www.wtg-online.com/data/nic/nic040.asp
If there is an alternative - please let me know but I think this may be the final nail to persuade me not spend a couple of weeks in Central America in June.
