AA 25% off certificates

Has anyone received their certificates from the offer that closed 1-31?

Wannagotoo,

I didn't enter the last pool, but I purchased certs from volumebuy twice. The first time I received them within five days, and they had been sent through UPS. The second time I had to wait about two weeks, and they arrived via insured first class mail. Perhaps the people at volumebuy decided to cut down on the shipping costs after receiving a deluge of responses?

Oh, and you may recall that I complained about an unauthorized charge from volumebuy; well, the issue was completely resolved after about two weeks. So, overall, I had only minor problems in dealing with them, and they all were solved eventually (wish I could say the same for mypoints ).

I received my package last week via UPS two day service. An E-mail was sent prior & gave a tracking number.

The certificates are all on the up & up and I plan to purchase some upgrade "stickers" to fill up my account.

I think its a great deal.

I assume you were in the pool that closed earlier than 1/31. No charges have appeared on my credit card and I would assume that would happen before they send anything out.

I was in the pool that closed last week (feb. 2 or 3) and my credit card has already been charged but to date I have not received vouchers in the mail (did get verifying e-mail of purchase). How much time usually between pool closing & receipt??

I ordered some in a two week pool back in January. They came about 16 days later.

I have used them on a ticket and things look fine. I tried to upgrade the ticket and that does not look to work, but that was via the web, I will try by phone later.

Also, the true fare amount is NOT printed on my ticket receipt. I have a big fear that my accounting group is not going to look too favorably at this. I will try to snow them with the HOLD form from the web with the real basis on it.

To 747: Sounds like you might be using the certs to buy your upgrade stickers. Is that possible? Also I received an e-mail today to "confirm" my address. The invoice stated the price based on the amount when I got in, not the amount ($37.50) when the offer closed. I included a note asking them to correct the price. Hope it happens!

The $50 certs are back again...current price is $45 and 3 days til close (24 more items til next decrease). Also, I believe a new addition to the terms/regulations has been added. Looks like VolumeBuy can specify the name of the recipient on the certs they send to you. Perhaps this was intended to head off those travel agents who were buying in bulk for their clients.

I received an e-mail today that the amount on my invoice was not what they would be billing me. I would be billed $37.50 each. So far so good!

The charges appearedon my credit cards today dated 2/5. The charges plus a credit netting the correct amount...so I assume it will arrive within the next couple of days.
