Same here. Verified that I was set to accept all cookies without restrictions. Did not get a mypoints button.

I am getting really sick of mypoints. I did not even bother to try this one because I didn't see any mypoints icon on the first page, but most importantly, because every similar offer I tried since the beginning of the year resulted in no immediate points, and several email messages on my part to get the points posted (some still haven't). At the end of last year, I briefly had the impression that mypoints was starting to get it right, but in the last month their unreliability and lack of customer service has been worse than ever.

Is it just bad luck on my part, or are there other people who get messages like:

"We have completed crediting your account with the correct number of Points. Please allow three full business days to view the correction to your account".

And after three full business days, nothing gets posted? I've had this happen at least three times in the last month, and it is frustrating and, in some way, insulting, especially when they would have us believe that the points didn't post because of "technical problems". I guess they must really think I'm stupid (and maybe I am... I still try to deal with them...).

What kind of recourse do consumers have with this kind of company (other than abandoning them, that is)? Does anybody here have a strategy for dealing with customer service this bad?

Anyway, my apologies for the somewhat off-topic rant.

You all have a good weekend.

Honu, I share your frustration with MyPoints. I only will go for something like this if it's really, really easy. I'm content now to earn a measley 10 points here and there by reading emails or visiting websites. Once in a while a kind soul will post something on this board to help us get easy big points and that's a help. Eventually, when I get 1,000 points, I transfer them immediately to Hilton HHonors. I know there are others who've earned major points with them, but I don't have the patience. If there's something you're going to buy anyway, sometimes they have good shopping offers where you can earn points. So do it as a part-time thing and it's much less frustration (also much less lucrative).
