5,000 AAdvantage for $19
On aa shopping portal motley fool has 5k for $19 monthly subscription, takes about a week to post then call them to cancel |
"Subscription must be active for at least 45 days"
|
Which means is 5000 for $38, not $19, right?
|
Weird. My post just disappeared.
I don't see a monthly option here. Are cancellations pro-rated? |

Have you actually received the points, cancelled the account before being charged for 45 days (2 months, perhaps) and had the points remain in your account for an extended period of time?
If you agree to receive 5K points in exchange for at least 45 days of service, it's easy to either charge the credit card you use for 2 months or pull the points from your account. Just receiving the miles isn't an irreversible outcome, IMHO. |

Still not too bad of a deal. Thanks OP.

Bonus is up to 7400 miles now. I just signed up for the $19/month plan.

Shows 5000 for me too. If its really only $19, the 3600 AS miles and 2600 UA miles through their respective portals are pretty good too..

The deal went back down to 5000 from yesterday's 7400 miles. You can still get the $19 option by clicking on offer titled "Stock Advisor: Join now for only $19 a month or $99 a year!".

It's slightly less than 2 cents usually, with the "bonus", which is a frequent offer, although the exact terms vary, but there's no need to "do it now". GC |

If it's $99/yr required for 5k points, those points can just be purchased at one of the many 'sales" for approx 2 cents/mile, which is $100 for 5k.

I just picked up the $19 membership (had the 7400 mile offer). Will see how it goes.

How long did it take for the AA miles to hit your account and how do you cancel? Can you cancel via email as I'm in the UK.
under your shopping acct, you can see activity after a few days to show you earned your miles and then 5-10 days it should post to your ff acct. |

I am only seeing the Annual plans at this time. Is there a trick to getting the monthly?

I have just logged in on another tablet and now I can see the two options, I've just emailed them to check and put me on the monthly only option. |
Try going back to main page of the promo and hit shop offer on the left, https://www.fool.com/order/fe_offers...cc5f1&cellId=1 thanks to the poster - great promo! We used it twice... |
Thank you, that worked for me.
|
It says on the order page you can cancel your subscribtion by contacting member support at [email protected] which seems way easier than calling. Great Promo thanks OP. Be cautious with the tc’s though as they clearly say the account must be open 45 days to ge the bonus miles. I know others have reported no problem canceling and the points are still in their accounts but I’ve seen point redeposits on other times I’ve returned take 3-4 weeks and then they get taken out. |

Where are you seeing miles mentioned? Do you have to go all the way to checkout to select what miles?

You shop thru the aadvantageeshopping portal. Then click on the $19/month offer on the motley fool's site. Miles posted within a week, but I'm planning to wait the 45 days required in T&Cs to avoid any chance of reversal.

My account shows the store visits on August 1, but no transactions....seems...odd.
|
For those that have the fool transaction tracking, how long was it between doing the purchase and it showing as a transaction on the aa shopping portal (as opposed to just a visit) ?

Same issue on my end; albeit, I made the transaction on August 7th, but nothing has posted yet, with the exception of the store visits.

Same problem here. 3 separate orders, 3 separate people and accounts. All made on Aug 5th. I made sure to close and log out and in for each person and close Motely fool browser window each time. 1account (the first one I purchased with) had miles post in 3days with email confirmation you’ve earned miles and it showed as a transaction right away not just as a site visit. Other 2 accounts only show I visited the page from AA shopping portal., no transaction. I sent inquiry email with order numbers and haven’t received any reply in a week. How do we get hold of the AA shopping site folks other than the email inquiry links that they don’t reply to? |

Thanks I found it, also saw a similar offer on SW for 5400 miles. Can this be used wherever you see it?

They replied quickly to my contact, but no solution yet.
However, did any of you ever get an order number and an e-receipt? I never got one. I e-mailed Motley, but they haven't responded to me yet. |
