Having fun at DFW today?
Apparently the airport is pretty much shut down because of the ice storm the Texans are enduring. There goes American's on time ranking for January. Anybody witness this first-hand?

I'm in some kind of the same situation, but in LIT. The airport was shut down at 1PM today. This is a disaster ! People are freaking out ( they ain't used to it ).
I'm all p**** off, because I have a flight leaving at 4:20PM tomorrow, and It doesn't seem that It will depart anytime before Saturday morning. I've been checking weather.com and sitting in front of the TV watching local news since 1PM.
I wanted snow ( We have not had snow in Little Rock for over 3 years ), but NOT TODAY AND TOMORROW ! ;(

My boyfriend had a flight scheduled for Thursday at 1 PM out of DFW, but he called early found out that things were pretty grim.
He stayed at home on Thursday night and took a 10:30 flight out on Friday. This does not seem to be as catastrophic as the Newark shutdown that I was stuck in on Tuesday. I was lucky to get out at 1 PM on Wednesday. I was scheduled to fly out of EWR to DFW on Thursday AM. Oh wouldn't that have been fun.
