London Heathrow BA- United transfer

Dear colleagues,
my travels are now almost organized but one problem is a transfer at LHR
I arrive from Cairo BA J class at Terminal 4 and depart 125 minutes later UA J class from Terminal 3 to ORD.
Presumably , although my baggage could be interlined thru to ORD, I understand I would need to recheck with UA at LHR to get a Boarding Pass etc. Even if it was interlined to ORD,do I still need to physically carry my case thru UK customs?
Is it possible in that timeframe to arrive at LHR ,clear customs etc with my bag, travel to Terminal 3 and check myself and bag thru to ORD.
I would like to get out of ORD ASAP for another conx so I would prefer UA's priority baggage labels as I assume UA won't recognize BA's one.
Cheers,
Ozflier
