But for viewing 6 videos and answering the 6 questions associated with the videos, you will earn 1,000 free miles.
These miles will keep your miles active for another 18 months if you are an infrequent flyer. Each video is about a minute long. We are going to save you 6 minutes and provide you with the questions they ask and the answers. Just skip to the end and the question will pop up.

I went through the process for myself. Then clicked on the link again (using the same browser), clicked on the Register Now button, and this popped up:
“You’ve earned 1,000 bonus miles. Now enter for your chance to win two First Class round-trip tickets to anywhere American Airlines flies.” I logged into my daughter’s account and I'm thinking that the rest of the process is unnecessary.

Any thoughts? I need to do this for 2 more accounts.

also you can start the video, and just skip to the last few seconds and not even have to watch them

I did mine then went to do it for my wife. After answering the first question it said congrats you qualify for the 1,000 and took me to the registration page without having to do the other 5 videos. I registered her info and got a congrats you will get 1,000 miles.

Now we wait and see :-)

I was able to earn the 1000 miles despite a problem with one of the videos. My mom and brother, however, were only able to earn 750 miles each due to the same video issue. They said they couldn't waste anymore time waiting for the video to load correctly.
