Earning miles for NYT subsrciption

Found it for 1,500 miles on AA's shopping portal and 1,400 miles on UA's shopping portal. Wonder if there are any better deals I could be missing?

I think i remember people having problems with this before. They'd cancel the subscription and keep getting charged, difficulty getting the miles to post. . . Maybe do a search?

IIRC, there were numerous mile clawbacks when people canceled. If you want the miles, be prepared to pay for the miles.

Here is a link to the whole sad story from early in 2013.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles...-99-cents.html

Most of this discussion seems to revolve around people who signed up for the digital version of the NYT and then cancelled before the trial offer period ended.

I don't recall any previous discussion about bonus points for a print subscription.

As always, YMMV !

But, I actually want the subscription and don't plan to cancel so hope they honor their offer.
