Help with miles (newbie) UK !

Hi, I've recently started a miles mission for a Florida/Caribbean family holiday :-)
I virtually have enough miles now for our Virgin flights for UK to Florida and Cancun to UK in UC, now heres the problem ... I am wanting to start collecting miles to pay for the internal flights from Orlando to Cancun. Only Jetblue and Delta fly direct from Orlando. I thought I could use my Virgin miles for Delta flights, however they do not allow one way partner redemptions. I looked into Jetblue, found that they partner with Amex MR, but it doesnt look like it works from the UK ???? I've emailed Amex UK and they said Trueblue wasn't registered. Any ideas how I can move/save miles from the Uk for use with Delta or Jetblue ?? Many thanks for any help or guidance :-)

Thank you ! :-)

I'm guessing this is the only way >> flying Delta (via KLM flying blue) ?
Delta only fly that route on a Saturday, we would prefer Jetblue who fly daily. I'm guessing that you can only transfer US Amex MR to Jetblue/Trueblue ?

Thanks again

You are welcome and welcome to FT. There may be other ways but that is the simplest I am aware of. Last time I looked there was tonnes of availability out of MIA on DL. Didn't check MCO.

Yep we too found the MIA availability really good, but as we will have two kids in tow we really wanted to fly direct from MCO to CUN, which seriously limits our options! we may just have go the KLM/Delta (miles) option or as a last resort ... pay for the flights but was really hoping to work all the miles as much as possible !!!
Thanks again
