Best award redemption from MEX to CDG
Hi all. By the end of the year, I expect to have enough Marriott points for a vacation package and I want to have my parents fulfill their lofelong dream of going to Paris.
They are based out of MEX, so Im wondering which airline makes more sense to fly? Which one would give a better award redemption? The dates I have in mind are either May or September 2014 but I'm definitely flexible as long as its not going during winter and as much as I'd love to get first class tickets, economy will do if that's all I can afford.
Thanks in advance!

Last year my wife booked two 1st class tickets MEX-CDG one-way, economy return on LH for her sister and a friend using her UA miles. Initially she had book RT's in economy about 7 months out, but started looking for business or 1st class availability about 4 weeks out. She was able to change the outbound to 1st class 2 days before the departure. Availability out of MEX on LH or UA is pretty good outside of the summer months and Christmas holidays.

I'm definitely flexible to make last minute changes and keep checking to see if first class seats open up.
This is the first award I book and I wasn't expecting UA to be the go to airline for this -I thought maybe KLM/Airfrance would be cheaper since they have non-stops from MEX to CDG. I will check UA availability/price once the date is closer.
