I wonder if there will be an issue with holding 2 BW MBNA cards at the same time? Is the 1 card per type rule for Alaska only ?

Wondering the same thing. I already have a BW card and was hoping to keep it open while applying for a new one, especially given that the no annual fee would help me strengthen my average age of accounts in the long term.

I'm not sure if the 60K offer is worth it over the 40K (no spending) if this card is highly churnable...

" Chase Marriott Rewards Visa: FYF ($120 AF), 50,000 points, 1-night Cat-4 e-cert, no ForEx fees. EXPIRED"

Can someone clarify what does 'expired' mean here? No more 50k point (30k instead)? or No more FYF?

DealAddict May 22, 2016 8:49 am

No more 50K probably.

50k is still available to elites only. Need silver and up.

Working link requires you to log into your Marriott account

Has anyone got or had the CIBC Adventura card? They're offering a Biz one for 25,000 points FYF.

Besides travel, can you redeem for gift cards....if yes what examples and how much?

Has anyone redeemed for a return flight from YVR to LAS?If yes,how many points for economy?
TIA

250k Marriott points = 132k United miles or 120k AA/Aeroplan/Alaska miles + 5 nights in a category 6 hotel

So, assuming you can get to 250k (which might be a tall order but spouses can combine their points for a redemption), each card is 24-26k miles.

FYI - In case anyone wanted to pool points with their spouse for a huge redemption, Marriott is now capping annual transfers at 50K per person.

I got the BMO World Elite card a year ago when they had a Free First Year offer. One of the perks is four Priority Pass visits per year. I didn't activate the Priority Pass membership until part way through the year, and it is supposedly good for a year, but I'm wondering if it will still be valid for a full year if I cancel the BMO card. Anyone have experience with this?

A limit of 50,000 points per year may be transferred into or out of a member?s account. Members who are transferring points in order to satisfy a specific award may exceed the 50,000 limit up to the amount needed to satisfy the reservation.

That's a relief, thanks for clarifying. I wonder what the point of the annual limit is then?

Is there anyway we can have a page with all current Canadian credit card offers all in one post? Like the US Thread?

Just seems like a convenient post to have on a thread like this?
