Wait wait I didn't say Sobeys won't transfer to Aeropesos. I said Esso won't auto-transfer to Sobeys anymore. Which generally wasn't a good deal anyway UNLESS some kind of specials happened.

One last hurrah for CIBC Aerogold cardholders?

CIBC and Air Canada are teaming up to bring you 3X the Aeroplan Miles - exclusively for CIBC Aerogold® Visa Infinite™ or CIBC Aerogold® Visa™ cardholders.

From October 30 to November 26, 2013, earn 3X the miles when purchasing your Air Canada flights at aircanada.com and paying with your CIBC Aerogold® Visa Infinite™ or CIBC Aerogold® Visa™ card.

FWIW I just called to cancel my Aerogold and she agreed to waive my AF for next year without any fuss at all. I have several CIBC products so I think my card will stay with them after TD takes over.

Hopefully this portends some healthy competition btw CIBC and TD for Aeroplan spend and we'll see some good promos in 2014.

Cheers

Thank you, that would have been worse then the market going down 10%...Sobeys is great the way it works (or the way I work it) I was in a panic there.

That's good! I just can't wait to see what offers TD will have for us next year.

unfortunately not.

The BMO World Elite MC caught my eye until I realized the 2% to spend on travel is captive through BMO's booking site. Why do they insist on this? I fly on Aeroplan miles and use VRBO. And if I do pay for flights its usually the inter-island puddle jumpers, won't see SVG air on those booking engines! I'll stick with the Capital One Aspire MC, no BS, no games. Just a really low credit limit... nothing's perfect.

Get 150 Aeroplan miles with first purchase at UPS Store.

Also, you get 500 additional miles if you earn the miles with a Get More! small business card.
You just need to declare a small business to get the card.

So, you can get 650 Aeroplan miles for the first purchase.

is there any additional fee for small business card?

But be careful because when I checked on Westjet's site I found this:
