Smile SFO-BOM-SFO OneWorld or *A

I am looking to fly "J" for 2 PAX in Nov/Dec SFO-BOM-SFO. I have below amount of miles in FF. Any inputs on what are the best options I can go with? Below are some FF miles details:

AA - 181k -- Would want to keep for later use on RTW ticket
US - 100k
UA - 61k
SPG - 50k
Amex PRG - 50k
BA - 100k

Any suggestions?

Use 135K AA to get two one way to BOM from SFO in business class. Don't forget to add a free one way
Transfer 50K SPG to UA and get two one way back from BOM to SFO for 120K.

SPG transfer's 2:1 ratio to United so that does not sound like a good idea. Any other combo?

The only way I can see is 2 one way in AA for 130 and two one ways on British. You can transfer SPG 20000 for 25000 avios or even Amex points to British

Hmm Thanks .. Here's what it could look for OW

Flights on CX (SFO-HKG-BOM-HKG-SFO)
AA - 130k - Round trip using OW Distance based award chart.
BA - 190k - Round trip using BA Avios award chart (Although does not seem to be a good use of avios)

Can anyone suggest other better alternatives?

Any inputs for *A?

With *A, there is better availability in J to Asia from LAX. You could do SFO-LAX-NRT-SIN-BOM in J beginning 11/24 and arriving 11/26. You may have to look for these by segments. The return could be BOM-SIN-ICN-LAX-SFO, beginning 12/5 and arriving 12/7. Again you may have to look segment by segment. You would fly with UA, NH, SQ, and OZ. Your issue is that you would need 240K *A miles for 2 pax. USAir does not allow one-ways, so in order to use US you would need 120K for a RT for 1 pax which is 20K short of what you have. These could come from your SPG points. For the other pax, use your UA miles for either the inbound or outbound and find a way to come up with another 60K to complete the RT. Maybe transfer the remaining 30K SPG points to UA and apply for Chase CC to come up with rest.

Nope. AA's distance-based awards require that you include at least two of AA's partners on the award itinerary. So you'd also have to transit Tokyo, and include SFO-HND or HND-SFO on JL metal.

You can use AA miles in Etihad for one-way. SFO-ORD/IAD/JFK on AA ORD/IAD/JFK-AUH-BOM on EY. This will cost 2 x 67.5K in J.
Build UA balance for the return.

IIRC travel to Indian Sub-Continent is only allowed via TATL and you might end up with hefty fuel surcharges on BA. Look for EY routings or go with *A. I think if you split it in to two one-ways you might be able to travel TPAC.

Thanks for all the suggestions:
^

From all inputs it seems below would be the best bet.

AA - 2 one-ways on J on Etihad
UA - 2 one-ways on *A (Will need to get 60k more miles may be time for Chase CC)
