Points for Payroll

A buddy who knows I dabble with this recently asked me if there was a way to earn points for paying payroll at his small biz.

I told him most likely no, but it never hurts to ask, right?

So, any options?

Pay workers with Amex Gift Cards rather than cash. I'm sure they'd love that!

Write your employees "convenience checks" that come with you're credit card statements?

Convenience checks don't earn points.

Bluebird might work out, if he can find VRs in his area.

It's been asked before; the conclusion was if they are getting paid with a check or electronic funds transfer, the answer is no.

Probably not what he's looking for, but Citibank offers monthly ThankYou points for their small business accounts, based on the type of account and how many products/services you use, including payroll.

It's not based on the dollar amount, though, just whether or not you have the service.
