TransBrasil Partner?
Um, I think I know the answer but what the heck.
I just finished a trip to Brazil on DL. The return flight, DL104, was a code share with TransBrasil.
I had a domestic (intra Brazil) TransBrazil segment and was wondering if they had a partner I could claim miles on?
I looked at the DL and Transbrasil sites and the WebFlyer Partners section - nothing. Curious that DL has a code share but doesn't allow mileage accrual when flying with the partner.
Thanks, Jim

My guess is that the partnership is not really going anywhere. Transbrasil has not been too agressive in developing a brand identity in the US (as compared to TAM). Skymiles for Transbrasil operated flights are permitted only when flying on a DL flight number (about 8 destinations).

I am not 100% sure, but I think transbrasil launched some sort of frequent flyer rewards...
but as far as "usuable" miles for a US or other, its not the case for them...
(flew one way in dec 96.. no credit anywhere..)

Transbrasil does have a FF program called Transpass. Although the program information doesn't list any partners it does list the required miles for free flights. You need 18,000 miles for a flight in Brazil or within South America. 45,000 miles for a flight from South America to North America and 63,000 for a flight from South America to Europe. These are all for economy class tickets.
