since the tickets are not connected you could say fly on monday to lax, stay in la 2 nights then get a flight on wednesday to ogg, i dont know if any of the four are children but this could add in a day at disneyland on tuesday if you wanted.
ther are lots of options i just wnated to point out sometime you can get creative, you might also look at what a ticket costs, some times you can get tickets to hawaii in the 400-500 range, you could then buy with UR points at 1 pt = $.0125. it might be even cheaper than transfering to UA or BA, they key is to look at what you can get and see whats best. there are no "always Best" options in the points game.
all that said it is "most likley" that transferign to UA and suing 40k RT each will be the best option. Good luck and please let us know afterwards what you choose to do
