MyPoints Virgin

Alright, I've never dealt with MyPoints yet, so I need a little help. What do I do first to sign up (are there any promos to get points for signing up?) and what are the quickest, easiest, cheapest (preferrably freest) ways to get points? I've been avoiding this for some time because much of the down time I have to spend on the net (when I'm not on the road or in the air), I read and post here. So I'll have to rely on your expertise.

It's easy, go to www.mypoints.com and sign up (and if you want, enter burkey as your referer) Without spending money, there are bunches of 10 point clicks to visit websites, and also offers that are emailed to you. Also, there are free points under Try a Service for things like signing up for Family Point, internet game sites, etc... I claimed 5k with Vacation Miles so far, then exchanged for 5k on AA, total time took about 3 weeks from claiming to posting.

With all the previous clamoring for mypoints referrals, coupled with your knowledge of miles, points and this FT board, I actually thought this was some kind of practical joke! It's easy and free so enjoy! You have done www.freeride.com as well, I hope. If not, you should probably sign up for that too. And possibly www.alladvantage.com if you are really into this stuff- they send checks!

Catman, where you been man??? I already signed up yesterday. Now I feel like a mustard prezzel eating bafoon. Maybe I can sign up again and use you as the referral.
