YES!!!!! 20,000 miles from Sprint!!!!!!! --AFTER MCI'S 25,000

WOW!! I was able to do it. After scooping up the last of the 26,400 MCI miles with Continental, I called Sprint. The first time I called they offered me 5,000 and I declined. Today they said the 25,000 offer ended 10 days ago but that Sprint would give me 20,000 with NW. 5,000 a month for the next 4 months.
They also matched MCI's new low rates of $.05 evenings and all week-end and $.10 during the day($4.95 fee per month).
Called 877-282-6742
The sprint guy said it was "WAR" and they weren't going to let MCI win. That's fine by me!!!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Pretty soon you will get FREE long distance service and infinite miles.

No wonder some phone companies are in trouble!

You can already receive free phone calls. The catch? You have to listen to short ads, but then the call is free. I have used it, and it does work and is free. Great for checking my answering machine while traveling.

Thanks Steve100, I have been using "Freeway" for when I travel, also, and it works super. Saved me when I was in Alaska for 6 weeks and both of my prepaid phone cards had trouble connecting from where I was.

Does Sprint offer miles with anyone other than Northworst? For me, NWorst is less or worse than nothing.

Sprint has given my company "Free Friday" for several years. All calls, anywhere, on Friday are free, no charge.

Sprint is affiliated with TWA also. Don't know of any other major carrier. Most are with MCI. I might take 20K TWA miles!

TV, Welcome to FlyerTalk. Was unable to E-mail you back the answer to your question.
I don't know if Sprit requires any Minimum. I just told them I spend $50-$80 a month and they didn't mention a minimum.
I was able to only get 20,000 pts not 25,000. Were you able to get the BIG 25,000 when you signed up?

nathan: Remember, those NW miles can be used on CO, HP, KLM, and a bunch of other partners.
