That's why he removed his post. People getting greedy and trying to buy 300000 miles is exactly why deals get shut down.

Good Lord! 300,000 miles?
The greedy newbies are a hindrance to the free flow of information.

I saw the OP's original post, and it's a clever and very "within the terms" tactic. If people did it just once or twice (for 4 to low-5-figure amounts of miles), it would be a decent haul for the effort and the deal would live on.

But 300,000 miles? Yikes.

Edit: And no, I will not entertain PMs to give away what the OP posted. I'm not partaking and it's the OP's creative content, not mine.

I've read the idea and it would involve quit a bit of work and $ for the potential payoff.

I question the part about "newbies". I think newbies generally find such strategies too complicated. It's the "experts" that get things shut down in my opinion.

What a debate. I think it's time to grab the popcorn again.

Sorry have to disagree with you there. More experienced members look at this as a long term game with regards to spending and cc bonuses. You see many "newbies" go for 10 cards in 2 months or 300k miles as above. Obviously there are exceptions to each case but on average that's the setup.

Newbie I am... A deal is a deal
But if it is complex I am out if it involves opening 10cc I am out as well
When it's complicated I cannot learn a new game unless if over the years following these forum I pick up something then I would do it
