bargain deals thread?
i'm new to FT. It was recommended to me by a member of a timeshare owners forum I belong to. On that forum we have a "bargain deals" thread where members will list timeshare points, travel vouchers, car rental certificates (etc.) that people won't be able to use, or that are about to expire. Typically people list these at bargain basement prices. This is usually better than letting the items go to waste, or expire unused.
IS there a similar thread here on FT??

There is, something like that I've heard. You have to have a certain post count however around 100 I think. I believe I qualify ... Never much looked into it though
Where do we find out the time frame? I want in

FT has the "Coupon Connection" forum, which I believe requires 6 months membership and 180 posts. It also has a very strict rule about trading but not selling. People do often list expiring items gratis (such as club passes, drink coupons, etc.) but the primary intent is different. Usually people have items of varying degrees of value to someone else and want something of approximately equal value in return. A typical trade might be "I have the right to give elite status on Overseas Air, and I want a 25,000 miles award on Midnight Express Airline, or a systemwide upgrade coupon on Air Rwanda."
