Lanpass 40k Bonus Miles CC
I got an offer in the mail today, which I haven't seen discussed here before. it's for a Lanpass Visa Signature Card from USbank with the following provisions:
* Annual fee of $75 waived first year
* 20,000 miles with first purchase, plus 20,000 more with $2,000 spend within 120 days
* 20% discount on first LAN purchase each year
* 0% intro APR for 12 billing cycles
* 4000 bonus miles at renewal
* 3 upgrade coupons per year with spend of $15,000
I have a very lengthy confirmation number, so I assume this is targeted. It says I have until Nov. 30 to apply, so no hurry.
Reactions?

Not a bad offer. Just remember that US Bank doesn't like to see too many inquiries on your credit report. 40k LANpass kilometers also doesn't seem to go as far as I'd like (insert of course because a kilometer isn't as long as a mile joke here
).

The offer says I'm pre-qualified unless there's been a substantial change in my credit history or I don't meet the income requirement of $6,000. I did get the Flexpass from US Bank a few weeks ago, and the Delta 70k Amex the other day, so I wonder if that would affect my credit history as they view it. Would waiting until late November make any difference in that? I'm fairly active in signing up for credit card bonuses in general, though not as many this year as last. The income requirement is not an issue.

$6000 annually or monthly? Just curious for my own behalf.
The Delta inquiry might affect it. It is tough to say, there isn't a lot of info on here or other forums about US Bank, and many of their policies seem strange. I'm not sure 40k LANpass miles would be worth an inquiry, but it is very unlikely that a better offer will come along (public offer is for 20k, no extra bonus for spend and no opening promo APR).

Seems that each leg is tallied up individually based on the redeemable kms, not total distance traveled. Makes OW awards via LAN pretty unappealing...
