ATL to ACC Aug/Sep 2012
Hubby and I are planning a trip to Accra, Ghana flying out of Atlanta some time in August or possibly September.
We plan on staying for anywhere from a couple of weeks (me) to 2 months max (Mr). We are very flexible and have no date restrictions.
I did some checking around and United seems to be our best option? DL availabilty and redemptions look to be out of the question they are ridiculously high when I looked.
I wanted to possibly get some advice on airline award redemption options and some creative routing (at least for my ticket) that may maximize the award mileage.

Sapphire 50K (transfer to UA maybe?)
Ink 50K (pending transfer to UA if posts in time)
